Salisbury is a great place to enjoy Halloween, survive
a spooky weekend, or cower on the corners of Salisbury’s regular
ghost walks. The Haunch of Venison and ‘one’ provide an
authentically haunting experience. Why not visit the Church of St
Thomas’s which has a marvelous medieval fresco known as the famous Doom
Painting. The ‘one’ restaurant has the best and most spectacular
view of this beautiful church, built before Salisbury Cathedral.
Salisbury Cathedral has Europe’s tallest spire and amongst
the ancient and beautiful relics inside, is one of the original
Magna Carta documents. The Cathedral is just a few hundred yards
from the Haunch of Venison.
